My name is Oleg Lisak. I took this photo in my trip to Prague a few weeks ago. On this photo you can see the bridge tower on the Old Town side of the river.
The Old Town bridge tower is often considered to be one of the most astonishing civil gothic-style buildings in the world.

Hang On Mister!

Hang On Mister!, originally uploaded by mediafury.

The beauty of Prague not only lies in it's wondrous buildings and architecture that have spanned history, but in the little gems you can find hiding around corners, underfoot or overhead. The Hanging Man was one of those discoveries that can only bring a smile to those who see it.

There are so many chances to take a great photo on the Karl's bridge. It could be the statues, it could be the people.. and it can a lot of other stuff ... and with a little luck nobody walks into your picture :). So to every photographer (and everyone else) definitely go check it out :)

...the story is over

...the story is over, originally uploaded by Michal | lahciM.

The photo is taken at a small nice restaurant at Mala Strana: = At hanged coffee

The name is linked with the idea, when somebody comes for a coffee but pays for two - the second is "hanged". Later, when somebody else comes without money is asking: do you have any hanged coffee? So he is going to get it :-)

Prague street

, originally uploaded by Roy. Mayer..

The shot was taken in a street that caught my eye, which is not a rare occasion when you walk around Prague.
It has an interesting combination of architectural styles: it had the modern, European-looking buildings, alongside a view to the river, to some Gothic-styled structures and to the wonderful red-roof tiles of Prague's skyline.

It was taken while my group and I wandered towards the Kafka museum.
We traveled to Prague to see Radiohead on their 2009 tour, and in the short time we were there we have truly come to appreciate the beauty of the city we were in.

Prague Metro 001

Prague Metro 001, originally uploaded by Kara Loyal.
I travelled to Prague in September 1998. I was awestruck by the architectural beauty of the Prague Metro and took a bunch of photos there. I am an American but I have had a lot of Czech friends over the years, so there were plenty of people to act as guides.

Overview of the city Prague.

I've been interested in photography for about five years. What started as a fascination with architecture and the urban environment evolved into a general appreciation for the beauty of the physical world.
